The kind of call we love to receive

If you hadn’t gathered by now, when it comes to vehicle restorations, one of our many specialities lies with classic VWs. It goes without saying that when we received the call from Anders, we jumped at the chance to source and restore his dream VW! On our first call, Anders mentioned he was a retired ex-pilot calling all the way from Norway. He’d set his heart on owning a bespoke split screen VW bus and we knew that if anyone could help him with his dream, we could.

As soon as the phone went down, we began scouring the internet for the perfect bus for Anders.

We soon found ‘the one’ through a European website and quickly began planning how we could restore this to meet each individual specification. After patiently waiting for it’s arrival, the day soon came around and we were eager to get started. Once the bus arrived in our workshop, we got straight to work and spent a solid year ensuring each individual component was fitted and restored to perfection.

As an ex-pilot, Anders’ adoration of old airplanes fuelled the inspiration for this bus renovation and we ensured that each part of our work followed this theme throughout the entirety of the restoration process. To add a hint of luxury, Anders even requested champagne flutes and a cutlery set from Concorde! From the outer bodywork to the interior upholstery, every aspect of this VW beauty was expertly custom-built and fitted to the highest possible standard.

We went above and beyond every aspect of Anders’ high specifications and I think it’s safe to say that he was over the moon when we finally finished the process and he was able to physically witness everything he had envisioned!
